Introduction
The 2026 Toyota Camry has been officially unveiled with a bold new direction: 100% hybrid powertrain across all trims, featuring the latest Toyota Hybrid System (THS‑5). This marks the first time every Camry will be hybrid by default, with optional electronic AWD available on all trims. A new Nightshade Edition also joins the lineup, featuring black exterior trims, 19″ black alloy wheels, and a sporty appearance.

Powertrain & Performance
1. All 2026 Camry models are powered by a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine + THS‑5 hybrid system:
FWD versions deliver 225 hp, while AWD (triple electric motor) models boost output to 232 hp.
0–60 mph acceleration: approximately 6.8 to 7.0 seconds.
Equipped with e‑CVT electronic transmission for smooth and responsive driving.
Available in FWD or AWD configurations; SE, Nightshade, and XSE trims feature sport-tuned suspension with Eco / Normal / Sport drive modes

Available in five trims: LE, SE, XLE, Nightshade, and XSE, all offering FWD or AWD options:
LE (Standard): 8″ touchscreen, full digital gauge cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging, Wi‑Fi hotspot.
SE (Sport): Sport body kit, alloy wheels, tuned suspension, metal pedals, paddle shifters.
XLE (Luxury): Leather seats, 12.3″ floating infotainment, ambient lighting, panoramic view camera, keyless entry/start, optional heated seats.
Nightshade (New): Exclusive black package, 19″ black wheels, Midnight Black trim accents, black badging.

Standard across all trims: Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, which includes:
Adaptive cruise control, lane departure assist, pre-collision braking, road sign recognition, auto high-beams, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
High-end trims add:
Wireless charging, Wi‑Fi, voice assistant, ambient lighting, heated seats, head-up display (HUD), and JBL premium sound system.
4. Fuel Efficiency (EPA Estimated)
LE FWD: ~51 mpg combined.
Other FWD trims: ~47–50 mpg.
AWD trims: ~44–51 mpg, depending on configuration.
